My work is inspired by contemporary patterns and vintage botanical images which translate to a piece of art blended with texture, color and depth.

The foundation of each piece is silk screening on raw linen, which builds a painted surface of various patterns and shapes. Then I begin to visualize the composition.
Needle & Thread
When the foundation is done, then I start to sew. The needle and thread become my paintbrush. I can add contrast, depth and color.
